The construction of the tiered collection is based loosely on the shape of a spiral, one that is fragmented and not continuous. Thin slabs of porcelain are meticulously cut into sections and then wrapped around each other to create the form. This bud vase has a base that is wider at the bottom, a nice feature for angling stems in a flower arranging.
