This small and delicate handmade porcelain mug belongs in the hands of an espresso lover, someone who likes small cups of coffee, or maybe someone who loves whiskey...

This mug was constructed from one thin slab of porcelain clay and adorned with casually carved lines that get filled with black underglaze that when fired has a bit of a midnight blue hue. The glaze is called coke bottle clear which is a transparent glaze with a hint of blue-green.

This mug is very light weight and not perfectly round due to the hand building process. While the slabs are very thin and make for a light weight cup, porcelain is very strong, fired to a temperature just over 2200 degrees. The handle sizes will accommodate 1 or 2 fingers, depending on the size of your hands.
